  1. Either party may terminate this agreement by giving to the other not fewer than three days written notice.
  2. SJ Sparkle cleaning teams will carry out all the cleaning tasks scheduled on your service agreement for that visit. Changes to your agreement must be made to the office 48hours prior.
  3. Our Guarantee ensures any cleaning task not carried out to the customer’s satisfaction will be redone at no additional charge. The office must be made aware of any dissatisfaction within 24 hours of the original clean.
  4. SJ Sparkle requires a three working day’s notice of cancellation or postponement. If fewer than three working day’s notice is received there may be a cancellation charge. The customer agrees to pay in full for any visit cancelled by them on the day of the clean. This includes lockouts, if the team is unable to gain access due to the property being empty and no key holder available.
  5. When a customer goes on holiday SJ Sparkle will offer a no fee cancellation of regular cleans provided at least 3 days notice is given. SJ Sparkle reserves the right to charge a fee for any cancellation giving fewer than 3 days notice.
  6. If your cleaning visit falls on a Bank Holiday every effort will be made to re-schedule your visit but this cannot be guaranteed.
  7. Payment will be collected at the time of the clean by cash or cheque payable to SJ Sparkle. If payment is not made on the day, SJ Sparkle will clean only once more until payment in full is received. Clients will be charged with all costs associated with recovery of outstanding fees including bank charges, interest, administration fees for debt recovery agencies and/or legal and court costs.
  8. SJ Sparkle agrees to keep keys and other client information secure and confidential.Any pets liable to bite or scratch the team must be secured away from our teams during the clean.
  9. In the event of a breakage or accident any claim must be notified to SJ Sparkle within 24 hours of the cleaning visit. Your team will leave a note informing the customer of any breakage or accident.
  10. SJ Sparkle makes the health and safety of our teams a priority. We request that you tidy up where necessary before teams enter and ensure there are no hazards in the room.
  11. The customer agrees to notify SJ Sparkle within 24hours if any person in the household is suspected of contracting an infectious disease. SJ Sparkle reserves the right to cancel in such circumstances.
  12. The teams are under strict instructions not to clean animal or human faeces, urine, vomit, soiled clothing or other similar hazards. Our teams are instructed to leave any room containing offending items and to inform SJ Sparkle.
  13. These Terms & Conditions do not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
